Notice Writing - Part 2

27th April, 2020
Day 5

Good morning gentlemen

Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. – H. Jackson Brown Jr.

I hope the quote above gives you enough motivation to do more than what you are capable of.

Moving ahead with today's content, we are going to continue with Notice Writing.
In last class, we learnt about Notice Writing, its purpose, types and characteristics.
In today's blog, we will learn the correct format of notice writing and see a sample of the same.

Before that, let us recall our learning objectives.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this topic, students will be able to

  •        apply the correct format while writing a notice.
  •        comprehend why a notice is written and the style and procedure.
  •        analyse any notice shown on the basis of knowledge imparted.
  •        frame a notice for any event.

Now
You are required to go through the given slides carefully, study them and copy the content which is needed.

I hope that the slides above are clear to you. If any query, kindly post your comments in the comment section below.
Tomorrow's blog will come with few more samples of notice and home tasks for you to practice on your own.

DO NOT MARK YOUR ATTENDANCE IN THE COMMENT SECTION. MARK YOUR ATTENDANCE BY CLICKING ON THE LINK GIVEN BELOW.

  3. Sir, slide 4 shows a format without headings. Is it compulsory to write them or can they be exempted?

    1. Headings are compulsory. Do not leave them. A catchy heading is what it takes.

    1. The word 'NOTICE' to be written in capital letters.
Leave a line each after the heading and body of the notice, each.

      I hope you'v understood.
